    Hi,

I would like who ever posted about Dr. Ronald Young from Indianapolis Neursugerical Group, to give me your opinion about him please.

If i had it my way right now i'd be travling to another state for medical care but i am on medicaid and they will not pay for it.

    Hi Ripplegirl--

I am not the one who posted the info on Dr. Young and I'm not familiar with him. However, I had my shunt surgery in Indianapolis in 1993 and my neurosurgeon was Dr. Michael Turner. He was very good and is still practicing. I was 40 years old when I had the shunt implanted--he did a stellar job and I would highly recommend him if you need a second opinion, etc. I no longer live in Indianapolis, so I've had to find a doctor in my new city, but I've had this same shunt for 15 years now with no problems. My new doctor told me I didn't need to come back unless I had problems. I don't know if I'm just lucky or if Dr. Turner deserves all the credit for doing such a wonderful job of managing my case.

I wish you well in trying to find the right doctor to help you out.

    Martha
